This is pure fiction. Go to Vegas and try to use any of these techniques. Ha!. They cover the back of the deck in Vegas and have been for years – u simply can’t use these techniques and I doubt you ever could. Please.

This book is a great continuation of “bringing down the house.” It is wonderfully written and the story is an easy read. I think this would make a great movie. Once I finished the book, I started reading it again. it is great…a must read

I just finshed reading this book and I must say WOW! I could not put this book down. It reads like a movie and keeps you wanting more. I dont know much about cards but this book makes me want to learn more. If you like cards or Vegas and getting one by the house get this book.

I just got Busting Vegas, and from the first page, I could not put it down!!! If you liked Bringing Down the House, you will LOVE Busting Vegas!!! Mezrich tells the true story of Semyon Dukach, an MIT genius who puts his brilliance to work devising systems to blow away casinos at their own game of blackjack!!! What is so amazing is that Semyon’s systems are completely superior to the old card-counting methods!!! A few times I had to put the book down and just laugh at how foolish card-counting now seems, compared to the genius of what Semyon has created! And what makes this book so compelling is that beyond the details of Semyon’s blackjack system, there is the dramatic story of all the danger and craziness Semyon encoutered while ripping off casino after casino all over the globe!!! Sometimes he gets politely asked to leave, but other times…well, let’s just say my heart was pounding and my palms were sweating as Semyon pushed his luck with some of the most intimidating and threatening thugs in the sketchy world of international casinos!!! This book is a thriller within a thriller…my biggest disappointment was when the book ended…I was so engrossed in the story that I hated for there to be a last page. But Mezrich is on a huge roll…I am sure there will be a movie and a sequel…and I’ll be first in line for both!!!
