Troller’s Ghyll valley is the secret home of The Rottentrolls, a bunch of crazy, knee high characters who were dropped from the sky in Merlin the magician’s snowcloud experiment. When 10 and three quarters year old Roger Becket crashes his bike into the valley, he doesn’t suspect that he is about to be crowned King of the Rottentrolls and set out on a series of amazing adventures. A programmme in the ‘too good for kids’ category, Roger and the Rottentrolls also enjoyed a student following, and is written by Tim Firth (and his Dad) of Preston Front and Calendar girls fame. Narrated by Martin Clunes Written by Tim Firth and Gordon Firth (his Dad) 1998
